Rose in need of a helping hand
Donation protected
Rose is a widow, mother and grandmother. My name is Angelina , Rose is my older sister. And she is 64 years old. I know asking for help is difficult for her, which is why I am asking for her. I am doing this because she is an amazingly good person who has encountered one obstacle after another. She just can't seem to get a break!
Rose's story!
In 2011, Rose, who is a widow and former teacher, discovered she had breast cancer; Her journey began as a cancer fighter and survivor, she went through aggressive cancer treatments. First, having a mastectomy and then rounds of chemotherapy and medication. Even when all her hair fell out, she maintained her sense of humour and rocked her wigs.
We came very close to losing her more than once.
Since her treatments she has been unemployable due to chronic fatigue, nausea, nosebleeds, and constant pain.
She lives on a fixed income of $600 monthly that just covers her accommodation. After her rent, she is left with nothing for food and relies on food banks.
Will you help? Your gift will help her with basic living requirements, like food and utilities. My heartfelt thanks to those who have given to Rose.
I started this in late 2015 but didn't reach my goal to give away this painting. I really want to give those who donated last time a chance to win this painting, so I am starting this again. Everyone who donates will get a chance to win this painting when I reach my goal!!! I will randomly select a person’s name from those who donated to win an original First Nation Denesuline painting valued at $2200 . (16 inches by 20 inches)
This painting is about'inkonze,' and the caribou spirit!
