Help Jef Stay Alive

Hi everyone, Jef here. One of the hosts of System Mastery, pround father of a 10-month old girl, and chronically uninsured. I just almost died from a pulmonary edema, and now I'm learning that in addition to the lungs, my heart and kidneys are pretty messed up as well. Why? Oh, because my natural resting blood pressure is on par with someone on a cocaine overdose, apparently. So now I'm sitting in a hospital bed, full of needles and tubes, and I can't see my daughter because she's too young for the ICU. I'm scared and mad because this is just my normal. And a lot of other people's normal too. I have no idea how much all this will cost. They won't give me any time estimates or tell me what's happening exactly. But I'm broke and I'm uninsured and I need some kind of help. The podcast is my only income source. The goal on this page isn't even a guess. It's a wildly low number because if I set it too high people will be scared off. I guess I'm just asking for people to help me stay alive. For my daughter, my girlfriend, my friends, and the shows.
