   We, Curtis and Melissa, would appreciate any support that you can send our way so that we can get our life back on track after our book business, livelihood, was rudely derailed by an unscrupulous corporation,

    After investing a year of our time, effort, and savings, $16,000 in rent alone, that was always paid on time, we were called squatters and accused of trespassing.

   Without proper notice the property manager tried to forcefully throw us out. When he attempted to break down the metal back door with a sledgehammer the police watch commander, and internal affairs, intervened. They told him he was acting unlawfully, to cease and desist, that only the sheriff, by court order, could legally evict us or anyone else.

    When an eviction lawsuit was instigated against us we tried to defend ourselves but we were no match against their team of lawyers, and lies, so we lost by default and got evicted unjustly for no good reason. The end result was that we were rudely thrown out onto the streets where we remain today.

SO FAR SO GOOD
   We, Curtis and Melissa, are living in a beautiful park and we need a replacement for our non operating van and new bikes for our two bikes that were stolen recently. We need cash or actual replacements.                  

UPDATE!!
    We are no longer living full time in the park. We have been uprooted by the city and we can't reside here in a vehicle from 1AM to 5AM so we go out for the evening.

   Thank You, Ken Stanton, for your generous donation that got new bikes for us. They are a great alternitive to the gas guzzling motor car and save us those much needed funds. And thanks to an anonomous  donator who made it possible for us to purchase, at auction, a good running '88 Ford minivan for shelter-camping and basic transportation needs. All it needs is to pass the smog test (Help!), and a little tender loving care~~~~~~

    Our #1 main objective is to recover all of our personal and business possesions which include family heirlooms, archives, and a valuable collection of 10,000 first edition/print books, which are being held hostage by a storage facility ~~~~>URGENT    $3000 needed NOW!!!

    In order to restart our lives and regain our business that was unfairly taken from us by a corporate landlord we are  going to need shelter and a place to conduct our business from but we are willing to wait out here in the sunshine in the wonder, and beauty, full outdoor environment that Huntington Beach has to offer. Summer is almost here so we're going to be alright. Do we really have to come inside?
