Fishability Queensland is a not for profit organisation created to assist disadvantaged people in our communities living in social isolation and loneliness.Fishability Queensland create social inclusion programs and take people fishing in and around Brisbane and the Southeast. We are dedicated to breaking the confines of loneliness and social isolation so that people feel connected to a community. Our motto is fish and forget! We have successfully seen people who have been formally homeless maintain their tenancies, and people transitioning from prison, migrate back into society remaining free from incarceration. Fishability Queensland have received limited funding and are appealing to members of the community to help keep our programs running. RIP John O’Dwyer!
