Belize Missions Trip

I am raising funds for  a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From June 1 to June 9, God has offered me the opportunity to travel to Belize with a group of women from Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle. This nine day missions trip will be to reach out and spread the Gospel to the women of Belize. The culture of Belize suffers from high rates of abortion, HIV infection, prostitution and teenage pregnancy. We will be teaching women about marriage and family and working to connect the community to God.  We hope to help cultivate a Christian lifestyle in those who come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Our hope to is to minister to these women while also learning more about the people and their culture.

While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First you can help by praying for me and my fellow team members. We will need prayer support so God can prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the women of Belize. We will also need agreement in our prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time, I need to raise $2000 for our trip.
