Erzberg Rodeo - Take 2, 2016
Donation protected
And so it continues....Hi everyone, my name is Hunter Neuwirth, I'm 18 years old, and an up and coming New England off road racer trying to make a name for myself on the international extreme enduro scene. After last years first attempt at the Red Bull Erzberg Rodeo extreme enduro in Austria it's now time for part 2. Last year didn't go as planned, after qualifying quite well, a mechanical problem eliminated me half way through the race. So this year its time for my revenge. I have started preparations already, and with the help of my family and your donations, I hope to be able to put together one heck of an effort. The goal for the race is simple...earn a good qualifying spot, and then finish this race. If you are not familiar with this event...1700 racers start, and on a good day about 30 make it to the end.
I will be riding a Husqvarna TE 300 - same as last year and very similar to my KTM's I ride here in the US. The bike was absolutely awesome, the 300 is the perfect extreme enduro bike, where the hills are steep and endless. The Erzberg Rodeo will take place on May 26th, qualifying will be on the 24th and 25th.
We will fly in on Sunday before the race to have a couple days to adjust for the time change. Dad is already working on hotels, rental cars, flights etc...
All funds raised will go towards bike expenses (parts, tires, etc) as well as flights and rental cars. As you can imagine, this is going to be a big and expensive effort again. I am doing this as privateers, and have to rely 100% on out side help to pull this together.
As always, I will continue to maintain my blog page, here is last year's Erzberg adventure:

Thank you in advance for your help, I truly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Hunter "747" Neuwirth
