Bayleigh Lee Collingsworth & Family
Donation protected
Bayleigh Lee Collingsworth is a 4 year old little girl who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on February 7, 2014. Bayleigh is the daughter of Zach and Mandy Collingsworth and sister to Brooklyn. Bayleigh is being treated at Children's Mercy hospital in Kansas City, which is about a two and a half hour commute from the Collingsworth's home. We are trying to raise funds to help the Collingsworth family with medical and travel expenses.
Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia or ALL is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. White blood cells help your body fight infection. In leukemia, the bone marrow produces abnormal white blood cells. These cells crowd out the healthy blood cells, making it hard for blood to do its work. This type of cancer usually gets worse quickly if it is not treated. It is the most common type of cancer in children.
Bayleigh has gone into remission as of March 11, 2014, although she still has a long road ahead of her. The doctors have said that if she stops treatment now, the cancer will return. As of now Miss Bayleigh is on a 2 year treatment schedule. Bayleigh does not completely understand what is going on with her, but she has been one amazing little girl. Everyone is so proud of her strength and determination.
We ask if you could please pray for Miss Bayleigh Lee and any donation would be greatly appreciated by the Collingsworth Family. Please help us raise funds to help the Collingsworth family with the medical and travel expenses. Let's help Bayleigh win her battle with Leukemia.
