housing fund

I've been out of work for the passed month and a half, and I've not been able to make the child support payments that have been deducted from my normal paychecks.

My vehicle broke down (alternator) and I live in a rural area where there's not that many jobs available plus without have a working vehicle, I'm screwed at looking for work in surrounding areas.

I got a notice in the mail today (Christmas eve day) that I need to make a payment in 15 days or I'll be found in contempt of court and sentenced to nor longer than 6months imprisonment.

This isn't going to sit well with my daughter whom I seen every weekend and have done for the passed 4 years(after our divorce).
Its not like I'm a dead beat dad. I'm an active part in my daughters life
and I can't put her through the thought of me going to jail how will she understand that...

After doing further research they can also impound my vehicle set it up for auction and the proceeds go to the state for child support.
And they can also suspend my drivers license.
