David and Katy's Dream Wedding

We are a family of three, our names are David, Katy and Danny. Our wish is to get married and have a special day with all our family and friends. We would love to make some happy memories for our child Danny.
At the end of September 2010 we received the awful news that David had an incurable brain tumour. After an operation and six weeks of gruelling radiotherapy, the tumour stayed stable for a while. During this time we had our little boy Danny. The Doctors had told David that he had only six to twelve months to live but he proved them wrong and lived to see our boy being born and take his first steps.
Unfortunately, four years almost to the day we got a phone call to say the tumour was growing again. two weeks later David was back in hospital for another operation. this one was much harder and he suffered terribly from the pain. When he recovered enough, the chemotherapy began. he started off with the PCV treatments which was a drip and tablets and was very hard on him. to make it worse the chemo failed and the tumour started to spread to the other side of his brain where they surgeons would be unable to operate. He was put on a different chemo treatment and has responded better and has more strength to go about his daily life.
David has fought so hard and was able to see our son go to nursery and now we are making plans to get married as soon as we can.
We live in Northern Ireland but have lots of family in England so we want to use the money to buy food and entertainment for the guests. We need to get married as soon as possible so David is fit enough to enjoy the day. We want to get married in Manchester as it is where Katy is from and it is where we first met.
We would love to have some extra money as we need to pay to travel to England and pay for outfits.
We are getting married on Friday 13th November!! we hope the date might change our luck!
It would mean the world to us to have one special day before David gets more ill. Danny has had such a hard time watching his Daddy go through this but he has been so brave and understanding. He would love a day surrounded by both sets of his family having a good time. It will be amazing if in the future I can show him a video of how much his mummy and daddy loved eachother and him.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for your generosity it will mean so much us all.
