I admit it: I need funds!
In the past few years I have had some medical expenses. Nothing huge, but I was already just barely making ends almost meet- and trying to pay the doctor bills $20 at a time doesn't work when I now have more different people and places to pay than I have $20s to give them per month- plus I am trying to pay off a medical bill I'm not exactly responsible for, but which would still look bad for me if it went unpaid. And I would feel bad, too. At least that one is now down to $190.
After my latest round of medical expenses from the past couple of months, I realize I will need to try to get enough to get some of these paid off. I don't yet know what the final bill- after insurance- will be, so the amount I'm asking for may need to be adjusted later.
And now, things are getting even worse. My daughter's mom is having some medical issues with breast lumps and tests to figure out what they are, that, even with insurance, are draining what little money she had put aside- and there's no end in sight right now. And, of course, this will mean multiple trips to the Big City where the actual doctors and hospitals are- a 180 mile round trip each time.
I spend hours every day writing, and the rest of the time coming up with ideas of things to write while I take care of the house and my daughter. In addition to my blog, I write on a Patreon account for subscribers, and a weekly newspaper column. Writing is what I believe I am best at- at least among the things which can make money.
I realize there are more deserving causes out there, but if mine speaks to you, I would appreciate your consideration. Thank you.
