Ecuador Missions Trip (CityLife Church)

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

When I was 18 months old, my parents took me on my first ever Missions trip to West Africa. I was not able to teach, or build a medical clinic, but I was pursuing purpose even then. The bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 that we are born with a "future and a hope". God created each of us with a purpose in mind, and when that purpose connects with our passion, the opportunity for a fulfilled life is easily within reach.
From the moment I was born, God was lining up my destiny and filling my heart with His desires for my life. One of those desires has been to travel the world helping people and sharing the love of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15). I have had the pleasure of serving as a short-term missionary to countries in both Africa and the Caribbean, and now I am making my way to South America.

On May 17, 2014, I will be joining Citylife Church on a 1-week Missions trip to Quito, Ecuador. We will be providing medical and dental services, engaging in construction projects, running a kids camp for over 1000 children and most importantly, conducting evangelistic outreaches throughout the city. I am super excited to be a part of this trip!

While I am eagerly anticipating this trip, I am humbled by the fact that I am unable to fund all of the expenses on my own. With this in mind, I am reaching out to family and friends to ask that you pray and ask God's direction in whether you can invest any amount of money in the cost of the trip. Regardless of if you can or cannot make a monetary contribution, I would ask that you keep this trip in prayer as I continue pursuing the cross road between purpose and passion.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support,
Eli

While in Ecuador, I will be serving with Dan and Teresa Susong of Faces Ministry.  Please watch the below video to learn more about this organization that is helping to put a stop to illegal child labor.  The FACES Ministry, Fighting Against Child Employment Services, (known in Ecuador as Niños con Destino en las Manos de Dios) was founded in 2003 by Church of God Missionaries, Dan and Teresa Susong.  Our goal is the progressive eradication of child labor. We offer the children and their families hope through a personal relationship with Christ and the opportunity to participate in our programs that target basic needs such as nutrition, health and education.
