Sheila's First CD Project!!!

Greetings friends! As most of you know, I have been singing and performing professionally for the last 20 years or so. Its my love, heart and passion. I have been wanting for a long time to create original music and record in the studio. A piece of work I can call my own and share with the world. Unfortunately, I haven't had the finances to do so. So I never thought it would happen for me.
Well, over this last, year I have had an urgency rise up within me to create, face my fears and challenge myself to make this happen. I know that many of you have asked me why I haven't recorded or have done more concerts and this is why. I need to create and record my own album of original music. This will open many new doors for me.
I met with a producer yesterday and we well begin working on music this week. I have already written 4 songs and we will be in the studio creating music to fit the lyrics I have written. My producer is very experienced. His father is in the famous group "Lakeside" and he tours with them frequently as a drummer. He is very experienced in the business and I am grateful to be working with him. I am very excited!
This is where you come in. I am asking you to help me with this. Its going to take at least $3000 to complete this project. Being in the studio is not cheap! (smile) However I believe that it is my time and that this will come to fruition and I will attract the right people who will invest in me. I am only sending this to certain people and not share with everyone on Facebook because its so personal and special to me. Once the project is funded, then I will share with everyone and have a huge celebration.
