'To forget my troubles and be free'
Many bikers will identify with this statement, but no more than the man who gave this as his reason for following his dream to join the world on two wheels.
After a 3 year battle with cancer resulted in Daniel losing his left arm, he wasn't about to let it take his motorcycle dreams too. Instead he found a way overcome the obstacles that riding with one arm presented . With the help of his friend he converted a 125cc bike for his needs, learned the basic controls on his driveway and went on to complete his CBT (Compulsory Basic Training, the first step to get you on the road in motorcycling).
Daniel would now like to go on to train for his full motorcycle licence and buy his first 'big' bike - all of which can be challenging to fund, especially with a young family.
Such courage and determination to follow your dreams despite set backs is an inspiration to everyone.
Any support to help Daniel 'forget his troubles and be free' is not only a step towards a life changing achievement, but also a great thank you to a inspirational guy. For reminding us that set backs in life don't define us, they may just be the start of something greater.
