"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave." - Elmer Davis
My name is Molly Carson. I am a sophomore at Clarkson University majoring in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Business. I am also an Airman First Class in the Vermont Air National Guard, taking the spring semester off from college to go to Air Force basic training in Texas and technical school in Mississippi from January 28"“June 3. I will be working full time at the Air Force base in Burlington this summer, and then resuming my education at Clarkson in the fall while continuing my work with the Air Guard.
Please sponsor my journey to promote my chosen platform, Wounded Warrior Project, as Miss Vermont International 2014.
On the basis of my resume, personal and professional background, community service, and dedication to Wounded Warrior Project"”as well as my personality and appearance"”I have been chosen as Miss Vermont International 2014 (www.miss-international.us). I will be participating in the Miss International 2014 competition in Jacksonville, Florida, July 28"“August 2, and also making personal appearances throughout the year at community parades, festivals, and special events where I will be able to use my position to raise awareness and support for Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
While it is an honor to serve as Miss Vermont International, this does entail considerable expense, including pageant wear and dues, travel, lodging, and other related costs.
In return for your sponsorship, I will thank and publicize my sponsors at my personal appearances, as well as in any advertising. Your donation may be tax deductible; please check with your tax preparation professional.
Thank you very much for your consideration. I look forward to representing Vermont in 2014!
