Help Adam beat cancer!

Donation protected
Adam Novicki and Therese McLaughlin need our help.  Adam recently found out he has stage-3 colon cancer.

Adam and Therese are our good friends.  They are family.   Adam and Therese are hard working people.  They deeply care about their friends.  They are passionate about their interests.   They strive to make the world a better place through their many good deeds.  Anyone lucky enough to know Adam and Therese will tell you these two are witty and hilarious individuals and a kind and loving couple.   They always rise to the occasion to be there for anyone of their friends -especially their nearest and dearest.  Now we can show them the same.

In case you didn't know, Therese supports sight impaired people with audio description  voice-over and Adam achieved his dream job teaching beekeeping at UC Riverside.  Both of these jobs  are hourly positions -low or no hours is another challenge to fighting cancer.  When they are not doing their "real" jobs,  Adam and Therese farm organic wheat and are busy beekeepers.   Unfortunately, these important jobs require their time, something many of us take for granted.

Adam just started six months of brutal chemotherapy and is already having trouble meeting all of his work commitments from worsening side effects of chemo . In addition to nausea, weight loss and loss of energy, Adam's immune system is weakened by the chemo.    He needs to avoid contact with people who could get him very ill.    Therese wants to be by Adam's side as much as she can and that means less opportunities to do their farmer's market sales and voice-over work.

They need our help right now.   Adam has to go on short term disability and hopefully will get about half of his normal wages.  The extra money from wheat farming and beekeeping are in jeopardy.

You can help Adam and Therese by making  a donation.    The money is needed to help cover the loss of about $3,000 of monthly income.  The money will be used for medical and living expenses over the next six months.  If you can't  make a donation, just reaching out with some encouraging words can really brighten the day for someone struggling with cancer.     Thanks for reading.
