So it has come to this....

For a few years, I've done my share of contributing to crowdfunding projects either by giving a few bucks to help make a movie or publish a book or such or by sending an alert or two for a desperate case in hope that someone will kick in a few bucks and help them out.

Sadly, it's now my turn to ask for help. I don't take this lightly because I REALLY need some bread to get me out of my present jam, especially since a couple bills are coming due within 48 hours.

I lost my job around the start of December last year. I won't get into details about what I did for work, but I can say some of that firing was my fault and in hindsight...I should've been paying a lot more attention and not falling for the fraud that cost me and another our positions. (Course, the guy who started the ball rolling should've been paying attention as well and saved both of us a lot of grief. That's in the past now and I'm not going to dwell on it.) I tried to look for a new job quickly while drawing unemployment, but sadly circumstances had drawn out what should've been a brief dry spell into a full blown drought! I have no more unemployment benefits to fall on, the few interviews I got  thus far ended up becoming exercises in frustration and the Hail Mary personal loan I had hoped to score to give me some breathing room turned sour.

Add to that, I had to go run my nephew's girlfriend on various medical examinations which cut into my job-searching and my car had a few 'episodes' where the engine went kaput and the alignment shredded the tires. The photos below show just what I have to drive around in to help out a human being. (I don't have need of getting my tires replaced or getting the car fixed. That's been done already.)

Within a week or so, I will need about $700 to pay for this month's bills. ($170 within 48 hours, in fact!) The various companies I owe to have been understanding, but that can only go so far. I'm not asking for much. I've been delaying doing this, but the chips are down and desperate times call for desparate measures. If a hundred people can give ten bucks each, my present situation can be remedied quickly and I can hopefully get back on my feet.

Any help will be appreciated. Any kindness will be repaid in time.

I could really use some help right now.

Thank you very much for hearing my plea.
