Princess Ali's Accessibility

Donation protected
My 11 year old daughter, Ali, has a rare progressive neurological disease called PLAN/NAD. It is causing iron to accumulate in her brain and destroying that part of her brain. As the disease progresses her muscles get weaker and now she walks short distances with assistance, while using a wheel chair for long distances. There is no timeline on the progression of the disease but it has moved fairly quickly. Alike is a fighter and after being wheelchair bound for a year she had a baclofen pump put in surgically which has allowed her to gain mobility again and now she is able to walk short distances with assistance.

We are raising funds to purchase a handicap accessible vehicle, Ali currently weighs 95lbs and I am unable to lift her by myself, while she can get herself in and out of a vehicle now we do not know how long she will be able to. On May 5th our van broke down on the way to Alis neurology appointment and we believe it is a transmission issue.  While exploring oir ootions we cane across a handicap accessible vehicle that will probably not be available next year when we are able to afford it ourselves. Currently I take her to all her local appointments up to an hour away and do not have a vehicle to do that.

We appreciate any and all help we can possibly get even if it's just sharing.
