Hello family and friends! Recently I have been offered to make my vision come true by starting my own preschool. As most of you know, I am currently in school full time while working three jobs and taking care of my sweet little angel. My goal when I am done with school was to get a full time teaching job and work my way up to owning my own preschool. But it seems that my vision came a lot sooner than expected...
While this is an amazing opportunity not only for our family, but the community of South Bend there is one major thing that is mandatory to make this vision come alive. Money- I know crazy concept, huh? While I am very blessed with the space that we have been provided, I do need to raise money for the materials that would be present in the classroom. With the insipration of the Reggio philosophy, the learning environment will be minimal and simple with a very creative vibe, all while pulling together artistic features.
Ideally, I would like to host summer camps at this location and start the school year 2016-2017. The build out period would start mid March, early April with painting, making the space safe for children, and prepping for proper learning. Being a part of these children's lives and being able to make an impact on their lives has always been a dream of mine. Are you willing to help make this dream come true?
