The Angelos Ministry
Donation protected
The Angelos Ministry is a non- profit organization founded by four Trinity Christian School students. The ministry was founded to raise funds to build a school for a town in Middle Egypt called Atfih.
Exsisting teachers in Atfih are essentially unsupervised. Because of the lack of supervision, many teachers physically and verbally abuse their students for even minor mistakes. Christian students fare even worse, often facing both verbal and physical mistreament from peers and teachers because of their religion. This leads to a cycle of abuse in the culture, as teachers don't understand how to implement authority and power, and parents are left unable to command their children's attention without hitting or yelling.
Private schools are also present in Atfih, but are highly unaffordable for the average working family. To increase their income some teachers actively force students to take expensive private lessons by refusing to teach
adequately in the classroom.
Atfih is in desperate need of a new school, both to break the cycle of abuse, and to give Christians access to education free of abuse or terror. Currently, we are partnering with a wonderful church in Egypt that is trying to achieve this goal, but is sadly unable to provide for the expenses and curriculum associated with building a school.
All money donated is an immense blessing (❤)and will contribute to building a school that:
-is inclusive to both Muslims and Christians
-includes at least 30 classrooms, 4 pairs of bathrooms, a cafeteria, and a gym
-has an available air conditioning system
-hires teachers (either local or international) with at least a college degree in teaching and are trusted to lovingly discipline
-has affordable tuition for the average family in Atfih (a monthly enrollment fee of less than 100 Egyptian Pounds per student)
and establishes the continuing mission of:
-an American style curriculum within the school
-available programs for at least 800 children (K-12)
-an understanding of correct authority, as well as loving discipline between students and teachers
