We have so much. These families have so little.
Donation protected
These parents are us. These children are our children. They have suffered deeply and need our help and support.
Wouldn't we give up everything for our children, our families?
Hard to imagine: No money, no understanding of the language, trying to find your children, etc. Often, one parent is deported when they think the paperwork is for reunification.
And still there are many emotional obstacles:
- Saying goodbye when putting a child on a school bus.
- A phone call from school that they can't understand.
- Receiving a letter in a language they can't understand.
- Daily trauma and fear of separation and the unknown.
- ICE visits
WE CAN HELP - BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Your donation makes a difference right now.
100% of donations go to the families because we are all volunteers .
Funds raised will provide food, clothing, transportation, medical costs, trauma therapy, housing costs, legal fees, and more.
Currently, I spend time with beautiful children and their devoted parents. Registering children for school, medical appointments, housing, groceries, ICE appointments, trauma therapy, and more. Truly lovely people that are so very grateful.
We are making a difference everyday. As a result of some of the donations that we have received:
A father and his 3 year old son......
"I want to thank you for everything you have done for us and I am especially grateful since my son has been very happy and growing more every day with an enormous smile. Thank you and may God greatly bless each of of you and your family and friends. Thank you"
Personally, I am coping with all the bad news by helping these parents and children, one family at a time. I know that I am making a difference and the feeling is indescribable.
The holidays are just around the corner - a difficult time for parents and children. Most are missing close family members - deported at the border. Others miss their parents, cousins, etc. - the live that they knew. For most, freezing weather for which they are not prepared.
We watched families brutalized at the border and we were helpless.
Now we can truly make a life-long difference in their (and our) lives.
I am asking for your help. Please donate.
Sharing is just as important as donating, please share.
