Team Elijah

Hello family, friends and prayer warriors It's been a while since I last posted an update. So to catch you all up... Elijah has been in school since November 2018. He's been through quite a few changes to better suit his needs in a classroom setting. But he's maintaining. He currently attends school for an hour a day. This change came about after maybe 4 school conferences. Thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Glynn Middle. They want to see Elijah in school and be successful. Elijah is still unable to use his right hand. So writing is his biggest challenge. There is still weakness on his right side as well. His leg tends to give out on him sometimes. Through all of this, Elijah refuses to let his disabilities deter him from doing normal things 12 year olds do. He does however struggle the most mentally. I along with many others have witnessed the drastic change in personality. I sometimes do not know the once loving, caring boy I birthed 12 years ago. Some days are good and others are that of a nightmare. On another note, Elijah has been wanting to go to Six Flags before summer is out. Being a single parent of three, maintaining rent and bills and due for a C-section in three weeks, I won't be able to fully fund his request. So I am asking once again for any help you all see fit towards his trip. I do believe he deserves it very much despite everything else. As always, we are greatly appreciative of any and all donations. Thank you all again for keeping my son in your prayers. A lot of you still check in on him! A lot of my strength came from you.
