Robbins Family Flood Recovery Fund

On Sunday, October 4, our family had to leave our home to get away from rising flood waters. We never thought it could happen to us, but when we were able to return to the house Tuesday morning, we found that the water had risen more than 3 feet, and had invaded our home, destroying many of the things we had worked so hard for over the past 16 years. Not only that, but it had shattered the belief of my two young daughters that their home was where they could always go to stay safe.


Unfortunately, insurance does not cover everything a family needs to survive and recover in the aftermath of such a catastrophe. We are currently looking for somewhere to live for the next several months while we work on getting our home rebuilt, and we have run head-first into a wall of things such as the cost of finding a place to live, paying for a house we can no longer live in, and the cost of all the little things we take for granted that we have to have to get by on a daily basis: clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc.


Compared to others in our situation, our need is small. But for us it is a need that we cannot fill on our own. We need your help. Many people have asked how they could help us, but are too far away.
