Hello all! For the past 15 months, I have been working on my first self-published book: "Wanderlust: For the Young, Broke Professional". This book highlights my personal travel experiences in a way that will inspire, encourage and motivate more students to work, travel, and study abroad. My target audience are those that have the desire to go abroad but don't have an abundance of cash to do so.
International Education is very important. It is essential that our youth be exposed to new languages, cultures, and people in order to adapt and be successful in our melting pot of a world. By the time I finished my master's degree, I had traveled over 20 countries in 4 continents and I'm by no means wealthy. I would love to share my experiences with others.
September this year, I would like to travel to local high school and colleges to promote not only my book, but the very important reasons why students SHOULD NOT graduate without some type of international experience. I will also reveal my "secrets" for very inexpensive traveling. Please assist me with the cost of being on the road for an entire month. I am hoping to raise funds so I can give 100-200 students a copy of my book and fund a scholarship that will help 20-30 students obtain a USA Passport.
