Nonprofit Sexual Assault Fighter’s Elite

I am Romy.  I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, rape, and drugging as a result of being exposed to a cult that participates in hidden sexual crimes on children.  As a newborn, I was left in the care of others.  That began more than two decades of abuse while in the care of or surrounded by the religious group Jehovah Witnesses (JW).  Elders "leaders" who wouldn’t help me.  The sexual exploitation not only caused me unimaginable horrors, but gave me a physical disease that has morphed into a lifelong pain.  From this pain, I went from fearing this world and everyone in it to finding hope and being compelled to help others find the same. This organization (cult) has 8.5 million adherents and we survivors refer to it as a “pedophile paradise". 

I am a “whistleblower” whose story on A&E / Arts and Entertainment television saw fit to televise and document in episodes of “Cults and Extreme Beliefs”, with Elizabeth Vargas this past Spring of 2018. I also appear regularly on a New York call-in radio show on the topic.  The Jehovah Witness organization silences their victims and it's members or they suffer grave repercussions such as shunning, blame, guilt, fear, confusion, despair and separation of family.

I have elected to not be silent but instead to go public with the goal of helping as people who also survived sexual abuse in cults as children. Since the A&E/ Arts and entertainment channel telecast, thousands of people have contacted me for support, ideas and encouragement. Out of this outcry for help we have formed a non-profit that helps people start new lives outside of cults and overcome the deep dark trauma of emotional, physical, spiritual, mental and religious abuse. 

Sexual Assault Fighters Elite (707SAFE ) – A new non-profit corporation providing coaching,
transitional and transformational support for survivors of child sexual abuse, helping to
heal one heart at a time.  The mission of this non-profit is to build awareness about child sexual abuse and helping survivors to find the joy that they deserve in their lives.

We need funding for formal training to complete the certification requirements. The goal is to begin workshops and conferences to help all those in need. We have found that there is a global need for those who have suffered from childhood sexual abuse from destructive groups.
