On December 3rd, 2015 Thomas C. Glascock was riding his Harley Davidson on Marracco Drive in Hope Mills when he was killed in a hit and run accident. Thomas was a police officer with the Fayetteville Police Department in Fayetteville, NC for 21 years. After retirement he worked as a civilian contractor supporting OIF and OEF overseas. Thomas was diagnosed with Oral cancer in the spring of 2015, and resigned from his job as a contractor. Thomas, decided after 12 years of going overseas as a contractor he would stay home in Hope Mills and be with his family. Thomas, loved his motorcycles and his brothers in blue. He was in the process of joining the Blue Knights of Fayettevlle NC, his brothers in blue, at the time of his death. The Blue Knights is an non-profit organzation of active and retired law enforcement who raise money for various charities such as Make-A-Wish, Toys for Tots, etc. http://www.blueknights.org/about.html
