Costa Rica Study Abroad

Hello, my name is Justin Rivera and I am a rising senior at the University of Connecticut. I am currently majoring in Urban and Community Studies with a minor in Crime and Justice. In the future I plan on helping minority students receive higher education and provide them with opportunities that will help them reach their goals.

In the summer, I will be going to Costa Rica and taking a class in regards to the LatinX community and human rights. I am looking forward to this trip and gaining new experiences, as this is my first time traveling out of the country. This class and trip alone, will help me in my future as it will allow me to gain a new perspective of life and the LatinX community and will further my knowledge and help me in my career.
