Help Pod Get Her Leg Amputated

Hello, friends and family! As many of you know, I love my little kitties very much.  Earlier this year I was asked to take in and care for a kitten who only has 3.5 legs.  I named her Pod (short for Tri-Pod).  Pod was born with only part of her right hind leg.   Since she has part of her leg, she tries to use it and ends up seriously injuring herself.  The stress from Pod's half leg has caused her to have numerous UTIs, which are terribly painful for her.  Her leg is constantly bleeding and bruised and I know that it just must be so hard on her. The vets told us that when she weighed enough she would have to get the rest of her leg amputated.

The procedure is estimated to cost $600 and as I am a poor college student with roughly $3.45 in my bank account, I just can't afford it.  I want only the best for Pod and if I can't give her this procedure then I may have to give her to the animal shelter so they can care for her.  Giving Pod up would be heartbreaking and it's the last thing I want to do. 

Pod is an 8-month-old kitten who is wonderfully sweet and deserves only the best.  Please consider helping me give her that.  A donation of any amount would help so much! I will be eternally grateful for any and all donations.
