Jahrell Horne AAU Sponsorship Fundraiser

Dear Family and Friends,

I am a Shooting Guard/Small Forward for the Chesterfield Jayhawks, which is a private Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball club.

I created a list of important people in my life that may be interested in sponsoring me for this upcoming 2014 big tournament event and I hope you don't mind that I chose you.

The reason I rely upon sponsorships is because I am trying to raise money for my travel and lodging cost for an upcoming tournament that will be played in Myrtle Beach, SC where we will compete in the NTBA Boys National Championship July 23-27 against some of the country's best players and teams. This will be an awesome basketball team-building and leadership experience for me as well as my teammates. 

Despite our success on the court -covering these expenses is one shot we struggle to sink without your help.

As a club program, there are no school budgets or city/county resources to tap into. Escalating costs for transportation, gear and supplies have made it difficult for an independent organization like ours to stay competitive. We operate on the fees our families pay, combined with contributions from people we are close to and who want us to succeed, like you!!
