Help Typhoon Victims of Guiuan, E. Samar

Guiuan was the first town to be hit by the super typhoon Yolanda. Because of it's remote location being at the southernmost tip of E. Samar, it was disconnected from the rest of the world for 4 days. Electricity and all communications were cut off. The last information I got was 85 precious lives were taken, many injured and 99% of the properties were either damaged or completely destroyed! Even our very old Immaculate Conception Church built in the 16th century was destroyed! Majority of the local people we call Guiuananons rely mostly on fishing and farming as the main source of income. Everyday life for a typical Guiuananon is already difficult as it is, barely making ends meet. Despite this, they always seems to have that happiness and joy living a simple life, having a strong faith and being surrounded by friends and family. What super typhoon Yolanda did to a town used to this calamity was something that people didn't expect. It was so severe that they thought it was the end of the world. They have never seen anything like it! They are shocked, helpless and homeless, depending on outside help to survive. Although Guiuananons are pretty strong and resilient in nature, I just know it will take quite sometime for them to get back on their feet.
