A. Johnson Family

This is the Johnson Family, Anthony and Tami.  I am honorary "Aunt Lory" to them and their daughters. These two serve where they can as often as they are called on. Now they need help. 

Anthony has been in the TLC (The Life Support Center) of UW Hospital for 10 days. He has a bleeding pancreas, failing kidneys, ARDS and the list keeps growing. He is fighting but there is no surgery, no medication that can fix this. They can't intervene medically until he gets better. IV nutrition makes his pancreas worse, medication makes his kidneys worse and the fluid he is retaining is increasing by about 10 lbs per day. His condition is life threatening but he continues to fight! Tami has been by his side for 14 to 16 hours a day. She can't bear to leave him for long and even on Family Medical Leave, the lost income  and added expenses are taking a toll. 

The funds we raise will immediately pay one month of the family mortgage and fund gas for Tami's long 2 hour daily commute to be with Anthony. We are buying Tami on more week to be with him full time. Tami will return to work next week but leaving him means she risks not being with him if he leaves this life.  That possiblity is unbearable. She will continue the 2 hour commute until Anthony is released. 

This family will be so very grateful for help. They didn't ask for this help, I only know the need. They have served so many so often it is our honor to now serve them.
