I'm investing my entire life's savings into creating this school for youth fitness and development, but that's not enough and I need your help.
Many believe Fall River, MA is a dead city, but I believe it can be reborn as long as it has a generation who has faith in it. At AMP Academy, LLC, our mission is to teach kids and teenagers values like respect, self-control, discipline, integrity, ambition, dedication, and loyalty so they can become productive members of society by use of the ever growing movement of parkour.
The city can't grow if the youth thinks it's a lost cause. I want to show them that Fall River has something to offer anybody who is willing to work, just like everywhere else.

ABOUT AMP ACADEMY, LLC
AMP Academy is a school for athletic movement and parkour (the art of fluid motion). It's a place where kids and adults can come to learn all kinds of expression through free movement. Right now, the academy will offer Zumba, yoga, parkour, ninja warrior training, and CapoFit (an AMP Academy special that incorporates conditioning techniques of capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that uses music, dance, acrobatics and self-defense). In the future, I'm hoping to offer more free movement classes, including various forms of dance and possibly other forms of martial arts.

USE OF FUNDS
The entire project is going to cost about $26,000 to fund as designed. I've already invested $3,000 (website and attorney) and I'm planning to fund another $15,500 myself, but that pretty much drains my savings and I need $7,500 that I'll use for wall and obstacle construction materials. Anything extra would go a long way toward making this school a reality.
Here's a breakout of the cost:
$2,500 for the wall construction materials (lumber, drywall, screws, joint compound, paint, etc.)
$5,000 for the obstacle construction materials (lumber, plywood, screws, paint, etc.)
$3,000 for the safety flooring (interlocking tatami tile padding)
$7,500 for the equipment (gymnstaics rings, climbing ropes, cargo net, weights, weight benches, yoga mats, etc.)
$5,000 for advertising and marketing (lighted signing, decals, flyers, etc.)
If you guys support more than the target amount, I'll be using that toward a springboard floor (about $7,000) or potentially a foam pit (between $6,000 and $12,000, depending on size).
