Mary and Adassa's story
As the morning commute was underway on November 1st, 2017, a mother and her nine-year old daughter were involved in a collision with a Diversified bus. We  are grateful to the first responders for their quick arrival, action and care of both of them.

The mother, Mary was discharged in the same day with minor injuries. Her daughter Adassa, age 9, is currently in critical condition. Adassa's first brain operation went well. However, this vibrant and beautiful girl is fighting to live.

Mary and Adassa have a long journey to recovery. We are hoping that the City of Edmonton can rally around this family to support them in any way possible.

As we write this, Adassa remains in a coma and the healthcare team continue to do great work to keep her alive. There is  still much more to be done to stabilize her condition and against all odds, Adassa is still with us.

Please help us support Mary during this difficult time as she remains the rock for Adassa. Every little bit helps.

We need prayers, well wishes and money so that Mary can continue to focus on Adassa's care and recovery. We are hoping to raise $75,000.00. This money will support monthly expenses while Mary remains by Adassa's side.
