Airborne Festival -
Honoring the Legacy of Robert Davidson.
Our Aerial Dance festival honors the artistic seeds Robert Davidson sowed through decades of teaching and performing. For Davidson an aerial apparatus was not inanimate - it was a partner to dance with and he introduced hundreds of artists to the expressive potential of Aerial Dance. The festival offers a slice of Modern Dance/Aerial Dance history and shows the diverse directions Davidson's ideas have grown to encompass.
The festival performances on September 15 and 16, 2018 will feature guest aerial artists from across the U.S. whose aerial artistry began with Davidson.
