Sending Our Angel (Ameen) home

Donation protected
Our beloved son, grandson, cousin, nephew, best friend and friend was tragically taken from us on December 8, 2017 through a shameful and careless act of violence.

Ameen was a caring and loving young man and all who knew him would agree. He was a peace maker and dreamt of making the community and the world he lived in a better place for all. He loved playing sports, basketball especially, but even more than that, he was a great writer (one of his best kept secrets). Ameen wrote of hope and promise and he encouraged his peers to do well and treat others like they wanted to be treated. Ameen was a great son. He trusted his mom and relied on her to guide and protect him. She was his light and he, hers.

He was a rolemodel and mentor to all of his loved ones - young and old. So many people looked up to him and many more  trusted him. He was honest and fair. His leaving us is way too soon. He had so much more to give.

Ameen should be laid to rest with dignity, compassion, and respect. We want to send him home with the same, powerful  love that he showed us. Help us to give him a proper homegoing just like he would have help any who needed him.
