Help Andrew's Family

In June 2015 Andrew Tallon was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM)--very aggressive brain cancer.  For nearly three years Andrew and his family have valiantly battled this illness with grace and fortitude that is unparalleled.  Andrew has endured multiple brain surgeries, innumerable trips to the City, and time away from family and work. For these reasons and because of the love we all share for Andrew, Marie and the boys we, the community of friends and colleagues, have started this gofundme page. Andrew died Friday, November 16, 2018. We are keeping this campaign open to allow for donations directed to alleviate some of his family's financial burdens (particularly his kids' education) while expressing our concern and desire to help during this time of intense struggle. Marie and the boys are the only and direct beneficiaries of this campaign.

Andrew's wife, Marie, wish to thank you all of for the recent donations in honor of Andrew's memory and work. Your gratitude and thoughtful words are a source of joy.

Since Andrew's last efforts were to raise money for the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris (he even founded a charity called Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris), Marie would like to encourage you all to make donations for the reconstruction of the cathedral after the devastating fire that partially destroyed it on Monday. She feels that this would be the best way to honor Andrew's memory and efforts.
