My name is Bailey R. Gwyn, and for most of my life I’ve been fighting battles on two fronts: my health and the systems that were supposed to protect me. I live with rare connective tissue and neurological conditions, and I also have Hyperthymesia — a rare ability to remember nearly every day of my life in vivid detail. That gift can feel like a burden when you’ve endured years of medical neglect, exclusion, and being told your symptoms weren’t real. But it’s also become my strength — a way to track patterns, document truth, and fight for change.
Out of that struggle, I’ve built Audia — a privacy-first, brain-inspired operating system that reflects my belief that technology should serve people with compassion, not exploit them. Every line of code, every late night, every document on my website (baileygwyn.xyz) is proof of how hard I’ve worked to turn personal pain into a tool for others. Audia isn’t just software — it’s a statement that innovation can be ethical, inclusive, and human-centered.
I’m asking for your help to raise $20,000 to move this vision forward. That support will go directly into:
- Building a secure, reliable foundation for Audia
- Protecting its intellectual property and ensuring accessibility standards
- Developing the first working prototypes
- Reaching the disability community with resources, tools, and support
- Keeping me and Audia afloat while I wait on investors and disability
Contributions not only power the development of Audia, but also provide basic support for me as its creator. This allows me to stay focused on building, advocating, and sharing resources with others in the disability and research communities without interruption.
I’ve poured my health, memory, and every ounce of my determination into this project because I know what it’s like to be left out, dismissed, or ignored. Audia is my way of changing that — for myself and for so many others.
If you believe that technology can be built with integrity, empathy, and respect for every human being, then I hope you’ll stand with me. Every contribution, no matter the size, is part of building something the world desperately needs.
Thank you for believing in me, and in the future Audia represents.
