Brad Schmidt Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On November 10, 2017, Brad Schmidt, and a friend were unpacking from an afternoon of hunting, when a gun discharged and Brad was shot through his right thigh. Brad was quickly taken by ambulance to the Long Prairie Memorial Hospital where he was stabilized, and airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Since being admitted to North Memorial, Brad has had more than six surgeries and is awaiting many more. Even though his condition is stable in the intensive care unit (ICU), the doctors are concerned about all the muscle, tissue, and nerve damage in his leg, and how much feeling he will have in the future. While, the doctors are optimistic, only time will tell as the healing continues. Until then, Brad is continuing to be monitored in the ICU for any further complications. Below, I've included an article from the Morrison County Record on Brad's accident, his current condition, and prognosis, and will continue to share updates as I get them.

With Brad in the hospital, unable to work, and being the sole provider for his family, I've created this GoFundMe to help Brad and Denise, and their family with the added medical expenses. So, please consider making a donation, or sharing their story. Together we can make a difference. THANK YOU!
