Operation: O2 Fur Pets
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brooklyn and I am a 8th grader. I volunteer with Noah's Hope Animal Rescue.
Each year approximately 40,000 pets die as a result of a fire. These pets are more than just animals, they were family. While firemen attempt to get our pets safely out, they are not able to revive them unless they have the proper equipment--- pet oxygen masks.
I have two goals that I am raising funds for. My first goal is to purchase 3 pet oxygen kits (WAG'N O2 Fur Life) for the Le Mars Fire Department. These kits will cost $90 each and $19.59 shipping. These specially-designed animal masks can be used on both conscious and unconscious pets suffering from smoke inhalation or exposure to toxic fumes. Each kit comes in it's own carry bag containing 3 oxygen mask (size small, medium, and large) and oxygen air tubes.
Once this goal is completed and these kits are purchased, I want to expand our campaign to provide masks for other fire departments in Plymouth County and the Siouxland area. The more money I raise, the more departments I can buy for, and the more pets we can save. My ultimate goal would be to provide oxygen kits for all fire departments in Iowa.
Any donation amount is appreciated! As kits are purchased, I will provide updates to show which department has received a kit.
