Bubba's Journey 100km for Diabetes
Donation protected
My friend Bubba Vermette is doing it again - he's raising money for the Canadian Diabetes Association. Starting August 8th, 2016 he will walk from Taber to Lethbridge, then from Lethbridge back to Taber which is 100km.
Diabetes is disease that affects so many people in so many different ways. Almost everyone knows someone who has Diabetes and we need to find a cure.
Over the last couple of years I have gotten to know Bubba and I am so proud of him for all the work he does around the city. He owns Bubba's Lawn Care & Snow Removal and with that he created a group called Bubba's Lawn Angels (which I am so happy to be a part of) He is such a compassionate man who's heart leads him in every thing he does. He works so hard through out his own personal battle with diabetes and keeping things under control, but he doesn't let it get him down - he takes a break and gets back at it. Bubba's journey is as important to me as it is to him and I want to help him get as much support and as many donations as possible.
You will see Bubba training for his walk around Henderson Lake as well as Nicholas Sheran Lake. Be sure to give him a wave, a high five and some encouragement for this incredible journey he is taking.
All donations whether it be through this campaign, the donation buckets around the city or other means will be donated by Bubba to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
