On the evening of June 27, 2017 my mom, Kathy Cartell, lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer. Her wish was that someday SOON no one would ever have to go through what she did in her battle against this terrible disease.
My mom was the inspiration for the event, True Colors: Broadway Fights Ovarian Cancer. With donations from so many of you, we raised over $14,000 in February 2017, and it all went directly to Discovery To Cure, part of the Yale School of Medicine dedicated to advancing the prevention, early detection and treatment of women's reproductive cancers.
So, we’re doing it again! To not only honor the memory and wish of Kathy Cartell, but to stand and fight for those still battling this disease.
On Sunday evening, April 15, 2018 at Feinstein’s/54 Below, we present I Will Always Love You: Broadway Fights Ovarian Cancer. This one-night-only event will feature fabulous fine dining, an open bar and some of Broadway’s best, sharing stories and songs all to benefit this worthy cause! Please JOIN US if you can!
All donations made to this GoFundMe are 100% tax-deductible. Reward levels will be announced soon, but by popular demand, we’re bringing back the private Live Stream link to the concert for a donation of $150!
