EuroTrip Takes a Golden Circle Tour

WOW- we made it! THANK YOU to all contributors.  Golden Circle, here we come!

We are the Charlestown High School EuroTrip Club. The purpose of our trip is to teach our students that life-long travel is possible, even for students who do not come from a family of means.

Our club is unique in that we actually teach students HOW to travel. We do not use a tour company. Our entire trip is student led. Students choose activities and plan the days. Students figure out the budget. (Do we eat in restaurants and do free activities all day or cook dinner in the hostel kitchen so we can pay admission fees for activities?) Students read the maps and lead the group. Sure, we sometimes head the wrong direction, but they figure it out! By the end of the trip, our students have gained the skills to plan their own budget travel adventures.

We have spent an entire year planning and fundraising for this year's trip to Iceland. We have what it takes to have a great time in Reykjavik. But we'd like to get outside of the capital city, too. Please help us raise the money to purchase a Golden Circle Tour so that we can see more of the natural beauty that Iceland has to offer. Glaciers, geysers, and waterfalls are there for us to experience- but we need your help!

Please help a great group of 15 students see more of Iceland. We leave on May 30- how wonderful it would be if we could purchase the Golden Circle Tour on May 29! We'd be ever grateful for your help.
