Help send deserving Capitol Middle Magnet students to the 2018 National Junior Beta Club Convention in Savannah Georgia!
To better serve their club, school and community, the Capitol Middle Magnet Beta Club members will attend the 2018 National Junior Beta National Convention being held June 29-July 02 2018. The convention takes place in Savannah Georgia. and the club will have to rent a charter bus, book their hotel stay, Beta shirt and eat a number of meals out at an estimated cost of $300 per student.
There are 10 -15 Capitol Middle Magnet Beta Club students/members interested in attending this year's convention are comprised of academically talented 6th-8th graders who complete multiple school and community projects each year, and are committed to the Jr. Beta Club motto; "Lead by Serving Others." They deserve this trip for the opportunity to compete, show their talents, and for all of the new skills they will bring back to our community.
The club is doing all they can to offset the registration and travel costs to ensure as many students who want to attend are able to do so. Please consider donating to help them reach their goal of $2500 which will offset the costs of travel and provide subsidies/scholarships to Capitol Middle Magnet students. No amount is too large or too small!
Thanks so much for considering funding this worthwhile cause.
