Protective supplies for health care workers (GTA)

March 2020 Toronto Ontario:  We are a group of volunteers in the GTA that are collecting any personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, gowns, goggles etc.) for healthcare facilities in and around the Greater Toronto Area. Some of us have close family and friends that work in healthcare, including immediate family members who have to be at a long term care facilities to help residents. This campaign was setup in late March 2020 to address the immediate need of crucial supply of Protective equipment. We are asking you to please donate to our campaign so we can approach suppliers that have limited  yet available stock & retailers with PPE supplies locally that can be quickly obtained so we can collect and deliver to healthcare facilities in the Toronto area and beyond.  We have been working with donors and suppliers of Dental, Medical and Veterinary clinics; and Construction, Restorations and Esthetics businesses to help us cover the  immediate short supply needed by healthcare providers. We are volunteering for zero profit with the funds raised, and plan to donate all the proceeds back to the healthcare foundations that operate the many Hospitals in Ontario. --- Please reach out to us if you are a supplier that has stock in Mississauga Brampton Oakville Burlington Hamilton or neighboring cities so we can help replenish the long term care homes and hospitals' immediate needs. There is a severe shortage of these items and the front line healthcare workers need them to keep themselves safe while they work, and to avoid further spreading of COVID-19 to other hospital patients.
