Help 2 Orphaned Boys Attend School

Donation protected

In January 2017, I went on a mission trip to Southeast Asia, where I spent 3 months in Thailand and Cambodia. For the first month, we stayed at an orphanage in Kampong Cham called New Hope for Orphans. It is run by Vandy, an incredibly selfless man who was once an orphan himself. He started this orphanage with the dream of giving the kids in his orphanage a better life than he had growing up, and he is doing an incredible job at that. He and his family run the orphanage, taking in and loving each and every child as if they were their own. He wants more than anything for the kids at the orphanage to break free from the cycle of poverty and pain that is so common in Cambodia, and he knows one of the best ways to do this is through proper education.

Hence why this go fund me is here. While I was in Cambodia, I fell in love with the sweetest 5 year old named Channuth, and there’s nothing more I want for him than to have the proper education he needs to live out his dreams and reach his potential, because he has a heck of a lot of it!

My mom also sponsors Sopaeak, one of the kindest little boys I’ve ever met, and we’d love more than anything to help them continue going to their school so they have the best chances at success! I think education is something that we so often take for granted in North America (and any developed country, really), but I can tell you for certain that this schooling and education means the world to these boys.

My mom and I started sponsoring Channuth and Sopaeak last year at the end of my trip, but due to both of our current financial situations being very tight, we could really use your help to send them to school for another year. It costs $750 USD for a year of school, including all extra costs (uniforms, transportation, etc.). That’s only approx. $65 a month!

Please consider donating to help send these boys to school for another year, and feel free to message me or chat with me if you’d like to know more! And please share this page with your friends! Thank you!!!

**Any extra money raised will go towards the kids at the orphanage!
