It was 7 years since I first heard her name, my friend danny has always told me stories about how they'll go out and eat or go to parties and clubs together. She happens to be danny's cousin, shes come to visit New York before but it would only be for a day of a few hours so I never got to see her or really have a conversation with her, because of work or school. But I always wanted to meet her because she sounds amazing from my friend danny stories. However May 25th, was dannys birthday and she was coming to New York to visit for a weekend. Danny and I were celebrating his birthday and she surprises him she drove 12 hours from chicago to come see him. I finally got to meet Erica, next moring we wake up and go out but that night we stood up from midnight to 5am just talking about life and the things shes been through and I told her how I always wanted to meet her. We build a really strong connection in just a few hours. She told me that she thought I was an amazing person. I thought the same about her. But on June 6th its her birthday her cousin danny is going to chicago to celebrate. But I want to surprise her I cant afford to take a plane over there right now so I'm taking a bus it'll take about 17 hours to get there but I know she'll appreciate the fact that I made it for her birthday. Even if it is just for a weekend.
