An innocent by-stander, 19 year old Devin Bullock survives critical gun shot wounds after arriving at Hahnemann University Hospital dead on arrival on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Before this traumatic event, Devin's routine consist of him leaving home at 5:00 am for junior-varsity practice, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm he attended school at New Media Charter and from 5:00-9:00 pm he worked at Foot Locker in Cheltenham Mall where he put in 30 to 40 hours per week.
Devin planned on graduating from New Media Charter School in two months and obtaining a degree in Finance while playing college basketball where his skills will be appreciated and developed.
On April 30, 2014, Devin was is in a chemically induced coma, immobilized and his left leg was amputated and was pronounced deceased May 5, 2014.
To continue his legacy, family and friends have launched
The Devin William Bullock Scholastic Sportsmanship Foundation. A 501(c) 3 public charitable organizations for low-income youths who participate in scholarly and sportsmanship activities that encourage physical, mental and personal character development.

The Devin William Bullock Scholastic Sportsmanship Foundation headquaters will be located at 2704 Cecil B. Moore Ave, Philadelphia, PA. The property was purchased exclusively for this organization. The Devin William Bullock Foundation has 30 year lease, full access and now needs financial assistance to fully rehabilitate the center.
Starting with the roof, the estimated cost is $10,000.00, so to move forward, members of the foundation are hosting a fundraiser at Buffalo Billiards located at 118 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday, April 14, 21, 28 from 5pm until 10pm.
