Darrington Access - Road FS2060
Donation protected
I am Tyson geBauer.
I am one of many people who enjoy the varied recreational opportunities afforded us by the great environment in which we live here in the Puget Sound.
I am here to raise money for the repair of road FS2060 in the Darrington Ranger District.
The money will be used to purchase the materials needed to perform repair work on the culverts, drainage systems and fords that make the use of this road possible.
There has already been a significant amount of work performed by Mr. Mark Hanna and company, with great success and with the support and encouragment of the Darrington Ranger District as well as the Friends For Public Use.
Work completed
I am happy to provide details of the the materials and projects proposed to anyone willing to donate to the cause.
It is my goal to raise the total funds by Spring of 2016 so that work may continue in the dry season.
This road provides access to many user groups from hunters to hikers, mine explorers to rock climbers. This road serves as an access point for the Eightmile Trail as well as three major rock climbing areas (Exfoliation Dome, Three O'Clock Rock and Green Giant Buttress) with over a thirty year history of use. See the links below.
The repairs needed are more substantial and once made will ensure the access to this great area for a long time to come.
Whether it is you or someone you love that enjoy the magnificent resource that this road access please consider donating today. Every little bit helps.
