Dennis' Legacy

Dennis is a miniature dachshund. I rescued him when he was 56lbs. He is currently 13lbs. Thanks to generous donors he was able to have 3 surgeries to remove excess skin and fat that hanged from him loosing weight. I'm so grateful for strangers helping Dennis become a normal dog again. I'm paying it forward by opening a fund in his name (Dennis' Legacy) at OSU Veterinary Hospital. This funding will provide pet owners (dog or cat) that have an obese pet a chance to get healthy. The fund will provide one visit with OSU's nutritionist and 2Free large bags of food the nutritionist prescribes. As long as the animal has been cleared medically by a Vet so there aren't any underlying medical problems going on causing the pets obesity this this opportunity will give pet owners a kickstart to their pets weightloss journey; while also spreading Dennis' story.
