Fight Cancer: Denver Hutt Legacy

If not now, when?
Denver Hutt is the strongest, most passionate, outgoing, and giving individual I have ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. Many would agree she is the reason for your friendships, your sense of community, or the motivation behind your entrepreneurial passions. She’s a California Hoosier who has been battling stage IV Epithelial Ovarian Cancer for the last three years.
At 28 Denver has scaled mountains most of us could never imagine. She has faced them head on as she lost her hair, her weight, and now her ability to breathe. She’s faced the spreading of cancer, chemo, radiation, brain tumors, and a procedure that adheres the outside of the lung to the inside of the chest cavity in an effort to help her breathing improve.
The truth is that it has been a fight and it is not exactly working. Her doctor has instructed her to move out of her three-bedroom town home into a one-bed room apartment. He’s put her on an oxygen system around the clock just to help her catch her breath as she continues to fight the inevitable feeling of exhaustion.
After three years Denver has never asked for any help. She’s strong. She’s determined. She’s a fighter. Yet, we all need the support of those around us.
Denver could benefit from a better oxygen system but her insurance doesn’t cover it. She could use the financial support to help cover medical costs and take the time she needs to rest and continue fighting.
I’ve started this campaign because Denver’s fight isn’t over and this is our opportunity to give back to the woman that has given so much to each of us. If you can donate even $5.00 it all adds up.
