THE AFRICAN GENERAL LIVES ON #TGA

Donation protected
On the 5th of January 2016 our beloved Kudakwashe AKA Di Apprentice - The African General passed away. Thanks to your generous donations we were able to take Kuda's body home as a family, where he was finally layed to rest in his motherland of Zimbabwe.

Now two months after his tragic death, and the ICE (Crystal Meth) epidemic continues to rip so many lives away from us and drug induced mental health discorders continue to go untreated, threatening the lives of not only the drug user, but the very families fighting this war alone.

We made a promise that we would not let Kuda's death be in vane. His music must live on, his message must help others and save the lives of the next generation.

And so 'The General Army' project has been born.

Our aim - To raise awareness and knowledge about the harmful effects of ICE to prevent its use in the first place. To show our youth that through music, dance, creativity and REAL FRIENDS we can channel our negative thoughts and feelings into something positive. That its OK to feel down, but masking those feelings with a substance isnt the answer! Its time to Choose LIFE!

Our GoFundME campaign will continue so we can raise funds to produce a documentary about Kuda's journey, and a compilation soundtrack featuring duets with Di Apprentice and his favourite artists. To educate through his music and his life - revealing the true face of ICE and how it ripped away such a talented individual, left our son without a father, me without a husband, sisters without a brother, parents without a son, and broke the hearts of so many fans and friends who only knew 'the man who had it all'.

Please help us to change the face of ICE and fight the war our African General could not. Join The General Army! In honour of Kudakwashe - the Love of God.

*****ORIGINAL MESSAGE******

Kudakwashe Almeinda Gilbert Pwiti aka Di Apprentice, husband of Catherine Pwiti, father of Cristiano Pwiti, son of Gilbert and Jessica Pwiti, Brother of Takura, Rufaro, and Tinashe Pwiti tragically left us on Tuesday 5th January 2016. Kuda was loved dearly by his family and by so many around the world for his pure heart, humble spirit, and his unmeasureable talent as a Dancehall/Zim Dancehall artist. We will forever ask why but the answer is not for us to know. All we can do is find peace in knowing Kuda has found his answers and is finally free, and his memory, his music, will live on. We have been asked by many to provide details of how they can donate so we have created this campaign for those who would like to contribute to his family and funeral expenses. Kuda had not been home to Zimbabwe since leaving over eight years ago for study in Australia. He always insisted he would not go back without his new family, Catherine and Cristiano by his side. Although he will not see it in life we hope to fulfil this dream at least in death, and make this journey with him to finally lay his body to rest in his beloved birth place of Zimbabwe. We thank you all for the many ways you touched Kuda's life and know that he valued each and everyone of you. Let our love for Kuda unite us all and remember always the importance of family, community, and loving one another with respect and compassion. For ever in our hearts Kuda our Love.
